The Emory Campus is accessible on several MARTA bus routes:
#6 - Emory bus (runs between the Edgewood/Candler Park station and the Lindbergh Center station)
#245 - Kensington /Emory Express (runs between the Lindbergh Center station and the Kensington station)—On the MARTA website, this route is listed in the "Blue Flyer" category. It is an express bus that makes stops only along the Clifton Road Corridor.
#36 - North Decatur bus (runs between the Arts Center station and the Avondale station)
Coming from the airport, take any train northbound to the Lindbergh Center station, and take the #6 - Emory bus.
A "blue flyer" bus (Route 245 - Kensington/Emory Express) also runs between Lindbergh Center station and Emory. It is actually a faster bus because it makes no stops for passengers between Lindbergh Center station and the Clifton Road Corridor (Emory area). Ask the bus driver to let you off at the bus stop in fromt of Emory University Hospital. From this stop, go toward the pedestrian bridge that crosses over the roadway. When you are standing at the traffic light that hangs from the pedestrian bridge, you can see two buildings across the street. Emory Eye Center is located in The Emory Clinic, B Building, which is the building on the right as you look across the street. The concierge at the main desk in the B Building will be happy to help you if you need assistance in finding your doctor's office.
Weekly and monthly passes are available for riding MARTA. They are good for unlimited rides on all train and bus routes. For more information, click here.
