Fellowship Program

Ophthalmology Fellowship Training

Advanced subspecialty fellowship training is available in the retina, cornea, glaucoma, pediatrics, oculoplastics, ophthalmic pathology, and neuro-ophthalmology sections.

Retina Fellowship—deadline August 15

Cornea Fellowship—deadline September 15

Glaucoma Fellowship—deadline September 15

Pediatric Fellowship—deadline September 15

Oculoplastics Fellowship

Ophthalmic Pathology/Oncology Fellowship—deadline November 1

Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellowship—For information, contact the office of Nancy Newman, MD, 404-778-5158.

Fellowship Applicants

Register for the match at the SFMATCH Website and apply through the Central Application System for fellowships beginning July 1, 2010.

Additional Application Requirements

The following documentation is required in addition to your C.A.S. application form. Send documents by surface mail (not electronically):

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Current Photograph
  • Copy of official OKAP score sheet
  • Medical School Dean’s Letter (copy from residency program file will be accepted)
  • Medical School Transcript (copy from residency program file will be accepted)
  • Letter from chairman (if not included in your C.A.S. application)
  • Letter from residency director (if not included in your C.A.S. application)
  • Visit each subspecialty page listed above for fellowship description in the following areas: cornea, glaucoma, pediatrics, oculoplastics or retina.
