The 8th Annual Emory Eye Center Southeastern Ocular Oncology and Pathology Conference (SEOP) will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018, in the Calhoun Auditorium and Learning Resources Center of the Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Don't miss this opportunity to meet and share information with other ophthalmologists in an open, intellectually demanding, collaborative environment. Participants are invited to bring case presentations covering a spectrum of deseases including conjunctival and ocular surface tumors, retinoblastoma and pathology related topics.

Tuition for physicians and allied health professionals is $250 if registered no later than August 27, 2018; after August 27, tuition is $350. Fee includes conference, coffee breaks, lunch, and CME credit.

Learner Objectives

After attending this course, participants should be better able to:
• Explain pathologic findings of ocular disease and increase knowledge of pathology of ocular disease;
• Identify ocular malignancies;
• Lists recent diagnostic and therapeutic advances made in the past year;
• Apply knowledge to clinical practice;
• Demonstrate how to evaluate, treat and refer patients.


Register online at the Emory Medical School Office of Continuing Medical Education. Deadline for registration is September 21, 2018.  If you have not previously registered for Emory CME credit courses, you will need to create a profile with an email address and password.



Minimum and maximum enrollment fees have been established, so register early to take advantage of discounted tuition. Written cancellations received prior to August 27, 2018 will be refunded less a $75 administrative fee. There will be no refunds after this date. Emory University reserves the right to cancel the program and return all fees. The liability of Emory University School of Medicine is limited to the course fee. Emory will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including, but not limited to, airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.

A limited number of rooms are available at the Emory Conference Center Hotel at a special group rate of $179 per night, single or double occupancy (plus tax) and Hotel-Motel fee. This rate is available for September 28-29, 2018. Hotel Policies
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.  Should rooms become clean and available before that time, guests may be allowed to check-in earlier.  Check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

Hotel parking charges are the responsibility of the individual attendees.  An overnight fee of $15.00 per vehicle will be charged to the guest folio.  Hourly parking fees will apply to all guests not staying overnight and are subject to change. You will receive a parking voucher at the SEOP registration desk if driving in daily and parking at Emory Clinic B, the conference location.

Shuttle Services
The Emory Conference Center Hotel has a complimentary six passenger shuttle that serves guests of the Emory Conference Center Hotel.  This is an on call shuttle that does not take reservations.  The shuttle is limited to a mile radius from the hotel.  If you require transportation, please contact Leotis Watson at 404-712-6059 or lwatson@ecch.emory.edu for assistance in securing transportation.
