Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology
Korey A. Jaben, MD, joined the Emory Eye Center in July 2016 to work in the glaucoma service.
Dr. Jaben received her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2008. She completed a transitional year internship with the University of Texas Medical Branch at Austin, followed by two residencies. The first was in anesthesiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in Boston, and the second in ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. Her glaucoma fellowship was completed at the Emory Eye Center in Atlanta.
Several of Dr. Jaben’s professional presentations and research activities have centered on glaucoma, including a study about progression in infantile glaucoma. She presented lectures at the Ophthalmic Anesthesia Society Annual Conference in both 2014 and 2015.
Dr. Jaben’s primary practice location will be at the Emory Eye Center’s Clifton Road Campus.
