Dr. Bonnie B. Lowery joined the Ophthalmology Section of the VA Medical Center in 2011. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and comprehensive ophthalmology.
Dr. Lowery is skilled in the treatment of glaucoma as well as modern cataract surgery. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society and a Councilor of the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Lowery has a special interest in teaching Emory University ophthalmology residents the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, anterior segment laser procedures and cataract surgery.
