Vision and Optical Services

Natalie A. Townsend, OD, FAAO, serves as an instructor of ophthalmology with the Eye Center's Vision and Optical Services. She provides comprehensive eye examinations and assists in the diagnosis and treatment of urgent ocular ailments.

Prior to coming to Emory, Dr. Townsend was a staff optometrist at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, working in both the comprehensive and urgent care settings.

National Recognition

Dr. Townsend is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
