Emory Eye Center seeks to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction for patients seeking the best in vision care and eye exams, eyewear or contact lenses. Our Vision & Optical Services are located on Emory's main campus in Clinic B and in the Medical Office Tower, part of the Crawford Long Hospital complex.
Working alongside our ophthalmologists and optometrists, our optical shop professionals offer glasses, sunglasses and safety glasses along with an array of other eyewear items. Our skilled opticians are able to spend the time required to provide a custom, perfect fit for eyeglasses of all types.

On Emory's main campus, our Vision and Optical Services now occupy a newly-designed 4,300 square-foot space on the first floor of The Emory Clinic, B Building. The new suite includes clinics for vision care, low vision rehabilitation and a new state-of-the-art optical shop. Previously, these services were housed on the fifth floor of the clinic, where Emory Eye Center's Comprehensive and Specialty Contact Lens sections remain.
The new clinic is the culmination of 13 years of leadership by Ned S. Witkin, OD, Director of Vision Rehabilitation Services from 1991 to 2004. Dr. Witkin, the Eye Center's first optometrist, known for his co-development of the JORDY—a low vision device—was instrumental in the vision for and creation of this new expanded clinic before he died on January 2004.
