For four of 19 ophthalmologists who finished their studies at the Emory Eye Center this past week will be returning next year for fellowships and to join our clinical staff. All of them were celebrated during a day-long tradition that included research presentations and a Graduation Gala. 

On June 8, Dr. Paul Sternberg, Jr will deliver the Henry Edelhauser Lecture for graduating residents and fellows. We took a moment to talk with the now retired chair and CMO of the Vanderbilt Eye Institute (and former Emory Eye Center clinician) about the lessons he's learned from a career like no other.

On May 13, Emory Eye Center welcomes its newest optometrist, Trenton J. Gaasch.

May 6, 2024 was National Nurse's Day, a commemorative event that prompted the Emory Eye Center to reach out to our two nurse navigators, Cindy Bell, and Amber Henry to find out a little bit more about what led them to make this career choice.
